Craven County Sheriff's Office announces 60 drug arrests, 143 felony charges (2024)

NEW BERN, Craven County — Officials with the Craven County Sheriff's Office announced 60 recent drug arrests.

They said, in total, they seized:

  • 1,728 grams of methamphetamine
  • 1,147 grams of cocaine
  • 420 grams of heroin, fentanyl
  • 621 pills of opium
  • 24 Firearms

Officials said they issued 143 felony charges and 71 trafficking-related charges.

Mario White, 24, Perrytown Loop Road in New Bern was charged with:

  • Four counts felony trafficking heroin
  • Trafficking methamphetamine
  • Five felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver heroin
  • Five felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver methamphetamine
  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver cocaine
  • Ten felony counts conspiracy to sell, deliver heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine
  • Felony maintaining a dwelling for selling controlled substances.

Nicole Lowery, 33, Courtland Drive in Alliance was charged with:

  • Two felony counts trafficking heroin
  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver heroin
  • Felony possession of methamphetamine
  • Felony maintaining a dwelling for selling controlled substances.

Walter Brown, 34, E Street in New Bern was charged with:

  • Five felony counts trafficking heroin
  • Four felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver heroin
  • Felony selling heroin within 1,000 feet of a school
  • Two felony counts of conspiracy

Douglas Paul, 33, Phillips Ave. in New Bern was charged with:

  • Two felony counts trafficking heroin
  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver heroin
  • Felony counts of possession of methamphetamine
  • Felony maintaining a dwelling for selling controlled substances.

Nikera Lee, 25, H Street in New Bern was charged with:

  • Two felony counts trafficking heroin
  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver heroin
  • Felony maintaining a dwelling for selling controlled substances.

John Lero Jr., 33, Sweet Bay Drive in New Bern was charged with:

  • Felony trafficking methamphetamine
  • Felony possession of methamphetamine
  • Felony maintaining a dwelling for selling controlled substances

Tyquail Raynor, 25, N.C. Highway 55 in New Bern was charged with:

  • Felony trafficking heroin

John Scott, 31, Pine Road in New Bern was charged with:

  • Felony trafficking methamphetamine
  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver methamphetamine

Marcello Bryant, 41, Asbury Road in Cove City was charged with:

  • Felony conspiracy trafficking heroin

Jessica Pittman, 34, Village Court in Havelock was charged with:

  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver heroin
  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver cocaine

Kelly Simpson, 41, Old Concord Road in Charlotte was charged with:

  • Felony trafficking cocaine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

James Ipock, 54, Dover Road in Cove City was charged with:

  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver cocaine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Charles Brown, 62, Pembroke Ave. in New Bern was charged with:

  • Four counts felony trafficking heroin
  • Four felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver heroin
  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver cocaine
  • Five felony counts of conspiracy to sell controlled substances

Lewis Holt, 50, Pinetree Drive in New Bern was charged with:

  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver methamphetamine
  • Felony maintaining a dwelling for selling controlled substances

Marvin Kennedy, 41, Connie Lee Drive in New Bern was charged with:

  • Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver heroin
